The event was in Miami on a gorgeous outdoor patio with dozens of fabulous details. The most wow-worthy moment had to be the overhead decor complete with vintage umbrellas and several Hot Air Balloon Models from RosenberryRooms.com!

However, the most exciting thing for Amber and guests was getting to play with a 7 week old Australian Bengal Tiger and 10 month old Gibbon Monkeys!

Bold Wall(s) 

Whether you’re using wallpaper, stencils or stripes, a bold accent wall is the perfect way to amp up your nursery design. We’re seeing this trend used in so many different ways from hand-painted patterns on one accent wall to temporary wallpaper on all four walls. This fun trend is supposed to make a statement so don’t be afraid to go big!

Origami

If you’re looking for that serious wow-factor, this is it. Whether you’re an amazing DIY-origami-maker or would rather just order them on Etsy, this unique trend is great for your little one’s growing imagination. Plus, it looks AH-mazing!

Carnival Theme

This playful theme is rising in popularity for both nursery and kids’ room design. The great thing about it is that it’s so versatile in terms of its color palette. You can really choose any colors you’d like and it works for both girls and boys’ rooms.

Ombre

The ombre trend is for more than just cake decorating. Use it on your nursery walls, furniture or try it with the crib bedding! There are no limitations to this stylish look and it easily transitions to a big kid or teen room. This tutorial for DIY ombre wall is super helpful!

Color Blocking

Since the moment my daughter, Anabelle, was born, the song “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack has held a special place in my heart. The lyrics encompass my dreams for her life as she grows up and my hopes that she will live life to the fullest, regardless of the hardships or road blocks she may encounter. I want her to take chances and strive for happiness, as I am with my current venture, and I could and would not be doing so without the encouragement of my loving parents and family. My mother is an endless fountain of support and while crafting is not a gene I got from her, she will always be at my side, cutting and gluing her heart away. My father got me my first Wilton decorating tips and has always encouraged me to “have fun” throughout my life, whether I was heading out to take a test, going to a party or leaving for college, and I will never forget that. I recall a conversation we had where, as he reminisced over the good old days, he mentioned one of his few regrets was not having danced more.

As Anabelle prepared to start kindergarten this Fall, I wanted to commemorate the first of many milestones with a celebration that would not only excite her for the embarkation of her new adventure, but also inspire her with the confidence that her own parents will always support her with the constant hope that I pray she will never forget: to dance.

The party debuted in the Fall 2012 issue of Bird’s Party Magazine and it was Bird’s Party herself that created the stunning graphics and printables and brought my vision to life so beautifully. I wanted a soft, romantic feel, with an infusion of natural and musical aspects, along with a touch of sparkle! The beach setting was chosen to play upon the lyric “I hope you still feel small beside the ocean”, symbolizing the humility and gratitude I hope she maintains, as she follows her dreams.

The desserts were simple and represented the overall theme or specific lyrics in the song.

A small notebook was set aside in which hopes and wishes for Anabelle could be written and glittered cones with edible favors were set aside to be taken home.

As my baby girl headed off to kindergarten, I had conflicting feelings with which I am sure many parents could relate: excitement, fear, happiness, sadness… and though there will be countless events to come that will cause the same and even deeper emotions, my wish will always be the same…

In the latest episode, the fashionable trio makes some time for play where we spotted many of our favorite products from RosenberryRooms.com in their playroom!

All of Skyler’s little toys and games are stored in the whimsical 3 Sprouts Canvas Storage Bins! They chose the Hippo, Owl and Zebra characters. If you keep up with the show you know Zoe loves all things white and black so it’s nice to see her adding some color for Sklyer’s play area.

You may be surprised to see how many different options there are for wooden wall monograms. There are script and block monograms, connected and unconnected, framed and unframed and so on. We’ve put together a few of our favorite options that can all be found on RosenberryRooms.com to help you find the perfect style to fit your child’s room.

If you like the romantic look of a script font, then you’ll love these options. Some like to have the letters intertwined but if you have a lot of wall space to fill, you may prefer the look of the letters unconnected.
