We love how the room is super girly with all of the various shades of pink, but still modern in furniture choices and its pops of color like turquoise and coral.

We took all of these details and combined them into our own version of Penelope’s nursery.

Celebrity Nursery Reveal: Stylist Simone Harouche!

Celebrity stylist Simone Harouche works with a diverse group of clients including Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Panic at the Disco, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus and more. She has also managed several fashion ad campaigns, including Guess by Marciano and her work has been featured in the likes of Vanity Fair, InStyle, Black Book, Cosmo, and Rolling Stone. With her self-proclaimed love of “things that look a little creepy“, we were very intrigued to see what she and decorator Courtney Applebaum came up with for Simone’s son Dashiel’s nursery.

Simone Harouche Nursery featured

Featured in the premier edition of Domain Home, Simone’s nursery is probably unlike any nursery you’ve ever seen. “I want robots and airplanes, and an owl, I’m into horses and Native American stuff, and my dad’s Egyptian—so maybe put some hieroglyphics on there” said Simone. All of these elements were incorporated into the space and Simone says that both she and baby Dash love it. She says her son stares at the wall all the time so although strange, which is exactly what Simone wanted, you have to admit, it surely could spark a little one’s interest.

All of Skyler’s little toys and games are stored in the whimsical 3 Sprouts Canvas Storage Bins! They chose the Hippo, Owl and Zebra characters. If you keep up with the show you know Zoe loves all things white and black so it’s nice to see her adding some color for Sklyer’s play area.

No Zoe design is complete without a little bit of faux fur so it’s no surprise that they also have the White Polar Bear Pelt Rug in the playroom. It makes for the perfect comfy spot for “Sky-Sky” to play with his toys.

Skyler also loves to play with his Uptown Espresso Kitchen by Kidkraft! This kitchen features a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher, which all open and close for hours of culinary fun.

Celebrity Nursery Design Reveal: Jason and Molly Mesnick!

One of the few successful couples to come out of ABC’s The Bachelor is Season 13′s Jason and Molly Mesnick. The two were married in February of 2010 and announced they were expecting their first child in March of this year! When Molly and Jason first found out they were pregnant, one of their first calls was to friend, interior designer and former Bachelor contestant and Bachelorette, Jillian Harris!

Jason Mesnick and Molly Mesnick

Jason and Molly didn’t want to find out the gender of baby Mesnick until he or she arrived so Molly told Jillian she wanted to keep the colors of the nursery neutral and for the design to feel “crisp, fresh and not-so-baby”. Going off of this and a few of Molly’s favorite designs from Pinterest, Jillian created a beautiful nursery that was simple and clean yet cozy and sweet.

Some details of the nursery include the Chevron accent wall created using removable wallpaper by Tempaper! This has been a popular choice for many celebrity nurseries recently including Tori Spelling’s nursery for baby Finn.

The furniture in the room includes the Stonington Crib and Savannah 4 Drawer Changer by ducduc in white and ivory and the Simply Classic Rocking Chair by Levels of Discovery, also in white.

Celebrity Nursery Design Reveal – Backstreet Boy AJ McLean!

“Backstreet’s Back, Alright!” Does anyone else immediately sing that phrase when you think of the Backstreet Boys or is it just me? Well, this popular boy band of the late 90s is apparently making a comeback but I’m not sure they can still consider themselves “boys”? AJ McLean and his wife Rochelle Deanna Karidis just welcomed a baby girl named Ava Jaymes McLean in November of last year! AJ and his wife called upon Rockabye Mommy to create a rocker chic nursery that is both edgy and sweet.

The nursery features a pink and leopard color palette with gold and jeweled accents. The crib and changing table are both from Bratt Decor’s Chelsea Collection in a gorgeous espresso finish. The damask wallpaper on the wall behind the crib is by Kravet accented by the gorgeous crown canopy from Restoration Hardware.

I love the floral pouf they chose for the glider instead of a traditional ottoman. It really adds a whimsical and contemporary feel to the room while the gold stump by Arteriors Home adds a little glam to the design. The monkey wall art by The Animal Print Shop, rocker and stuffed toys were added by request from AJ and Rochelle who both love monkeys. These additions give the room a playful element perfect for their baby girl.

Inside Giuliana and Bill Rancic’s Nursery!

If you’ve been following their story, you know that E! host, Giuliana Rancic and Celebrity Apprentice winner, Bill Rancic have had a tough go at trying to conceive. Finally through a gestational carrier, they were able to have a beautiful baby boy named Edward Duke, with all of their family, friends and fans rooting for them along the way.

When it came time to design their baby boy’s nursery, the couple wanted to go with a nautical theme and called upon interior designer and co-owner of PetitNest for a design inspired by the sea. When it comes to nautical-themed nurseries you may be thinking red and blue striped crib bedding, cutesy sailboat wall art and maybe a stylish rug with an anchor in the center. Well, you would be right. That is the traditional nautical look you see in nurseries and it’s a favorite among many parents. However, designer Lonni Paul was also in charge of designing the rest of the Rancic’s house and she wanted the nursery to fit in smoothly with the sleek and sophisticated look of the home as a whole.

They decided on this stunning and modern nautical-inspired design that both baby and parents love. They used blue grasscloth wallpaper and white linen Roman shades, as well as the Paon bedding and a custom-designed, monogrammed gray crib appropriately named “The Duke” by Petit Nest. Isn’t that crib amazing? I want a bed with my own monogram!

Paul wanted the room to be a place where the whole family could comfortably sit together which is why she included the couch in the room in addition to the glider. Ottomans from Restoration Hardware and a Zig Zag Rug by DwellStudio served as additional cozy accents. Whimsical touches like a canoe frame hanging from the ceiling, a coiled rope lamp and even the octopus triptych above the sofa created unique focal points that really tied the theme together.

Tell us, what do you think of this modern nautical-inspired nursery? Would you do something similar in your home?

Inside Tori Spelling’s Nursery for Baby Finn!

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott recently welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Finn. When it came to creating his nursery, Tori was inspired by a vintage giraffe figurine she found which served as the basis for the design. “In the early stages of my pregnancy, I found an adorable vintage giraffe figurine at a flea market. That was when I came up with the vision of Finn’s nursery,” Spelling tells PEOPLE. “[I kept that] vintage giraffe by my bedside table in my hospital room for the 2½ months I was there. It gave me hope.”

Spelling called upon longtime friends Bill Horn and Scout Masterson (aka The Guncles) to help put together the nursery for baby Finn. Keeping her inspiration in mind, they created a beautiful and vibrant space with whimsical giraffe accents, perfect for a baby boy.

The furniture includes a custom made Regency Crib and Savannah Changer by ducduc. The bold orange dresser is by SPI Baby which accents the Pebble Organic Crib Mattress by Nook Sleep Systems.

The bold walls were created using the Marrakesh Honey Jade Removable Wallpaper by Tempaper, now available at Rosenberry Rooms.

The modern rocker is the Finn Rocker (of course) by Anthropologie.

Personalized details and charming giraffe accents add character to the space and make it extra special for little Finn and his family.
