When we stumbled upon Holly Becker’s nursery for her son, we just knew we had to share it! Holly is the founder and managing editor of decor8, a blog dedicated to sharing unique, inspiring and beautiful products, people and places with a heavy focus on creativity and decorating.
Holly and her husband, Thorsten, worked together to renovate this room in time before their son was born. They started with the most important piece of furniture – the crib – and decorated around it. A changing table just to the left of the crib makes diaper changes a breeze, and fun trinkets are displayed above.
The wallpaper was the jumping-off point for this room. Applied only to a feature wall, it’s a beautiful backdrop to the room without feeling too overpowering. Its modern-yet-vintage vibe adds just the right amount of contrast to all the white furniture, oak floors and light-colored walls. Well done!Opposite the crib is the mini library book shelf, providing the perfect place to store books, toys and trinkets. A gallery wall is prominently displayed above the book shelf, featuring vintage, indie and handmade art. Holly used washi tape to hang some of the art for a more casual (and flexible) look. The soft flokati rug softens the entire room, and a custom glider in the corner is ready for snuggling. (Doesn’t the lightning throw pillow add a fun punch of yellow?)

Thank you so much to Holly and the decor8 blog for sharing this fabulous room with our fans!
