Well I originally was doing my twins birthday party and wanted a Thing 1 & Thing 2 theme and believe it or not at that time there was NOTHING out there in that theme. So I fiddled with Power Point and created stuff for their party! My mother had a Silhouette and did a banner and I saw a dessert table and thought of how cute that was and decided I wanted to do one too! From there I decided to put my work on etsy and I received such a huge response that I just kept going. I eventually taught myself Photoshop and Illustrator and haven’t looked back! I’ve moved into party supplies recently too and am so excited for the future!
What is your favorite part of your daily work … when you reflect on the day, what is most rewarding?
Honestly my favorite part is when I create a new design. I love coming up with designs and seeing the response! At the end of every day I’m worn out! I have three toddlers so I go back and forth from my work to them constantly. I set a list of what I need and want accomplished each day and if I’ve managed to keep the house intact and my kids from running over each other and get the list done I feel everything is right in the world… If not…. Then it is going to be a long night for this momma! I never go to bed till my work is done!
Do you have any advice for other working moms?
Keep your head up! You know you are doing an awesome job and making a difference not only in the world but in your children’s life! They are just as proud of you as you are of them! Never give up on your dreams and remember… bribery is always an option! I don’t know how many times my kids have been bribed to give me just a few minutes to complete a task! Fruit snacks work wonders in this household!
What is your most memorable party you’ve styled?
As of right now it is my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. It was a Lalaloopsy Princess theme and I was so amazed once I stood back! I couldn’t believe that this lone ranger set all that up! Well…. With just a little help from the hubby! Our LaLa was so excited to touch everything and getting to know that it was all for her made it that much more special watching her reactions! I still can’t believe she’s not a little bundle anymore and a toddler now!
If you could design an event for anyone in the world, who would it be?
This is a tough one! I’d say…..Angelina Jolie! Yes, I might get negative feedback on this one but I LOVE that actress!! She is my favorite and I’d love to do a huge set up for those munchkins of hers!!
What thing/place/event were you most recently inspired by?
I recently saw the cutest ever fondant owls and was so inspired that I contacted her to ask if I could create a line with the cuties! She said YES! Once I was done and showed her and put them on my page I could not believe the response I received! Made me remember just how much and why I love doing what I do!
Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Where in the world are you dying to go next?
I want to get out of the states. I want to travel to somewhere where the water is fresh, the sun is shining and where I can just relax! If not… taking my kids to DISNEYLAND!
What is your favorite Rosenberry Rooms product(s)?
Oh that is easy! Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake Bag!! One day I’ll be able to afford such a beauty!!
Do you have any news that you would like to share, perhaps about upcoming events or projects?
I’m very excited to share that I’ll be putting together a Back to School party for a group of children at a shelter here in San Antonio sometime in September. A wonderful woman nominated them for a party in a box and I decided all of them would receive one large party. I’m excited to be able to meet my community in finding sponsors to gather gifts for these wonderful children! I’m also doing a photo shoot for the Bird’s Party Fall Magazine along with another for the Baby Lifestyles Fall Magazine! A busy few months to come!
Now, just for fun:

Favorite Movie- What Dreams May Come & August Rush
Favorite Weekend Activity- Playing with the kiddos outside!
