What inspired you to become a party stylist and ultimately to found Fanciful Events?

I have always loved parties, but it was when I was planning my daughter’s 1st birthday, I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind or envisioned, so I decided to create my own daughter’s theme. I fell in love with the party planning and all the details it involved. I loved how creative you had to be in order to put an idea together. It started as a fun hobby but since has developed into a serious passion for creating unique, one of a kind, and fun themed parties!

What is your favorite part of your daily work … when you reflect on the day, what is most rewarding?

Seeing smiles and sheer happiness is what makes everything worthwhile, all the planning, running around, putting your creative mind, and finally seeing how your vision came to life!

Do you have any advice for other working moms?

It’s all about finding the right balance and being able to be super mom at times. Just do what you love and what makes you the happiest but in the process always make time for family quality time. Family should always come first. There’s nothing better than being with your sweet kids! They make everything much better!

What is your most memorable party design project?

My daughter’s Snow White party. I had been pregnant with my 2nd daughter and was unable to do much or play with my older daughter due to being on bed rest, so I made it my mission to give her the best and one of a kind Snow White party. Seeing her excitement and love for this Disney princess made the planning so much fun and so magical at the same time. It was a party to remember and she certainly was a sweet little Snow White princess!

If you could style a party for anyone in the world, who would it be?

I would love to style one for Tori Spelling! She seems so down to earth and loves to do parties as much as I do and it would be fun to work with her and create something unique and one of a kind for her.

What thing/place/event were you most recently inspired by?

My next project is doing something beachy/nautical, I just love the beach and how serene and tranquil it can be.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?

I loved going to Rome and Florence and being surrounded by old world charm. Going to a beautiful country and seeing, eating, and experiencing things you wouldn’t normally would here in the States was so much fun and being immersed into that culture. There’s something about being in a foreign country and seeing how different things are from where you live. It was fun and it there really is a lot of signing and letting loose when you in some of those famous Piazzas!

Where in the world are you dying to go next?

I would love to go to Spain and hope it will be sometime soon.

What is your favorite Rosenberry Rooms product(s)?

Oh gosh, you carry so many wonderful vendors! I love Jubilee lighting, Dish and Spoon Productions, Bratt Decor, New Arrivals Inc…. and so many more!

Do you have any news that you would like to share, perhaps about upcoming events or projects?

I will be a part of Operation Shower’s Florida Team in May, and will be debuting “Tabletop Confections” your next party theme and matching decor in a box, coming very soon!

Below are just a few of the lovely parties Suzanne has thrown. Visit Fanciful Events to check out more!
