Check out this adorable “Baked with Love” party from Lynlee Beckett (one of our awesome Creative Contributors) of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes! Reminds me of the days of the good ol’ Hasbro Easy Bake Oven parties I used to have, but about 100 times cooler! I’m pretty sure I could convince more of my friends to come to this party then the ones I used to have.
There has been a trend lately of darling baking-themed parties and my daughter, Anabelle, and I were so inspired to put together a sweet little play date to celebrate after Valentine’s Day!
With a color palette of pinks, browns and white, the decor went back to the baking theme, while the desserts, ingredients and favors were displayed in my daughter’s play kitchen set.
The fridge held sweets, like chef hat and cupcake cake pops, meringue cupcakes (from a tutorial from Sweet Simple Stuff) and other baking ingredients, such as egg-shaped sugar cookies.
Favors of felt pastries and erasers were also housed here, along with cupcake boxes to take home the cupcake creations. The oven carried the cupcake and sugar cookies to be decorated with items from the “Cupcake Bar,” which included frosting and sprinkles.
The place settings included additional baking/decorating supplies , such as rolling pins, spatulas, oven mitts and chef hats with cupcake liner adornment, inspired by the tutorial from One Charming Party.
Finally, I made a baking window with a wooden picture frame and embellished it with cupcake liners for an adorable photo prop.
