What is your primary role at Rosenberry Rooms?
I’m the Web Merchandising Manager at Rosenberry Rooms, so my main responsibility is to ensure that the information about the products that you see online is accurate, complete and is a good reflection of what our designers and artists are creating. I also am responsible for identifying hot new brands and product trends that we can add to our website.
What do you love most about working here?
I love the people and the energy! Everyone at Rosenberry Rooms is so committed to creating the best online shopping experience for our customers, and it’s so fun to work with a team that is working towards the same goal. Of course, I also love all the amazing products that we sell. I can literally get lost for hours on the website – just browsing, looking at pictures, and creating a room in my head. With so many thousands of products, even I discover things I didn’t know were there!
What is your decorating style?
It’s definitely still evolving, but I’d say that it’s vintage-eclectic. I love the look of weathered décor and classic furniture designs. But in a kid’s room, my style is totally different! Bright colors are a must, as are engaging pieces of art, crisp and cozy bedding, and a plush rug. I think it’s fun to allow children to give their own input on the décor (if they’re old enough) – it’s their space, too!
What are your 3 favorite Rosenberry Rooms products and why?
There is absolutely no way I could choose my three favorite products – there are too many wonderful things on the website! But, if I must point out a few items that speak to me, they would be:
An Alphabetic Ode to Helvetica Canvas Reproduction (and the coordinating A Numerical Ode to Helvetica Canvas Reproduction) from Oopsy Daisy– I’m such a font person, and Helvetica has been used in so many prominent projects. I also love art that features letters and numbers in a child’s room to help encourage learning the alphabet and counting.
The Drum Pendant with Mini Roses from Stray Dog Designs is another one of my faves. I love that you can change the color of the roses and stems and the drum stripes to match your room’s décor. Plus, Stray Dog has an amazing collection and their designs are both eco-friendly and socially conscious.
I also love the delicate eyelet pattern on the Juliet Duvet Cover. This is something I would use in a little girl’s bedroom, or even in a second bedroom.
The Brigitte Large 3-Drawer Dresser in Light Blue is another piece that I absolutely love. I think it’s a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary design elements, and I love this color.
Now…Just for Fun!
